Knitbone

We make what we sell. In this case, a client cracked a couple of ribs, so I formulated a cream especially for them containing comfrey, as well as a few other special ingredients to help with inflammation, pain and healing.

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) referred to in the vernacular as knitbone, or boneset contains amongst other things, allantoin, a cell proliferant that promotes healing. It has been used for many years to assist with healing wounds, fractures, bone, tissue, tendons and ligaments. But this cream is more than plain old comfrey.

We formulate and make all our products here on site, which means our products are tailor made for the individual - be it you or your horse. Yes, you can buy comfrey cream off the shelf - but this is different. Apart from being packed full of comfrey, it has other special ingredients that work synergistically with the comfrey to give this cream more clout. Plus, it is freshly made by hand from quality organic ingredients. Not stale from being sat on the shelf.
